If you don’t own one of these, you are missing out.
It is a 15″x15″ self healing cutting mat. It comes with a 18″ ruler which has a magnet on the back and 8 magnets. It also has grid lines with measurements on it.
Why do you need this? Well, if you are like me and don’t adhere anything to your layouts until you can see the finished product. This is the product for you. The magnets are so strong they will even hold chipboard in place for you. I haven’t used the self healing part of my mat because I have heard from many people on different sites that it isn’t a very good self healing mat. It is also a little fragile when it comes to taking it to crops. It bends easily.
It is retailing for about $24.95 at most stores. But you can get it at HSN (www.hsn.com) for $22.95 plus shipping but you get an extra 10 magnets with it for a total of 18 magnets so it is worth the price.
My opinion after having one for a 4 months, it is worth the money even if you can’t use the self healing part of it.
I love my BG mat too. I am glad you said that about the self healing part though. I haven’t used mine for cutting yet.
